          The history of the company starts in Finland at the beginning of 2004. At that time the founders of the company were given the opportunity to obtain special technology for the preparation of spirits. This Scandinavian technology and its complex refining processes opened the door to achieving significant results as far as product quality is concerned.

          In the same year negotiations were successfully concluded to buy the equipment including technological processes and formulas. Subsequently, Helsinki Group s.r.o. was established in Ostrava on 11 August 2004.

          Following thorough preparation and tests the production was launched in Kralupy nad Vltavou in cooperation with Kralupsky Mok s.r.o. at the beginning of 2005. The period of 2005-2009 marks the stage of creating, developing and improving the production technology, preparing legislation, product portfolio and marketing strategies. During these years the company went through the stage of substantial changes and important development. The major events are listed below in chronological order:

- 2005 the new headquarters project – start of the construction of administrative and
social space, new production plant and warehouses
- 2006 finishing of an administration building, the change of headquarters location,
innovation and development of new technological processes and technology
- 2007 approval of building of the production plant, warehouses and technology, finishing of production
in Kralupy nad Vltavou, start of trial production in the new premises
- 2007 study, preparation and launch of new company image, change in the product design, development
of new formulas
- 2008 obtaining grants from the EU funds, involving operational programmes of enterprise and innovation
in marketing and ICT technology
- 2008 expansion of IT infrastructure – implementation of IT systems
- 2009 implementation of ISO 9001
